Hudson Pharma is seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Manager Research & Development (R&D) to lead our formulation, development, and scale-up of pharmaceutical products in
alignment with our innovation and growth strategy. This leadership role combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical expertise to drive end-to-end product development and
support— from concept to commercialization — ensuring quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness across domestic and export markets.
Education:
Pharm-D in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, or related field.

Education:
Pharm-D in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, or related field.
Experience:
- 8–12 years in formulation and development, including 5+ years in leadership.
- Proven expertise in solid oral, liquid, and/or sterile dosage forms.
- Strong understanding of R&D cost control, project management, and regulatory requirements.
- Track record of successful product launches and technology transfers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement R&D strategy aligned with company objectives.
Lead formulation, analytical method development, and process optimization.
Oversee technology transfer, validation, and regulatory documentation (DRAP, WHO, GCC).
Collaborate with Business Development, Production, QA, and Regulatory Affairs for seamless product launches.
Manage R&D budgets and ensure adherence to cost and quality targets.
Identify and implement new technologies and process improvements.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing R&D team.
Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, and international regulatory standards

Our mission at Hudson Pharma is to identify molecules that address local patient’s unmet needs across the globe. In developing markets in particular, we look at efficacious molecules that are under-penetrated often with new delivery methods or novel manufacturing processes that vastly improve both safety and attainability.
In our plant in Karachi, Pakistan we produce injectables, oral liquids, and respules in polyethylene containers using the innovative blow fill seal (BFS) process. In addition to our BFS line, we have separate manufacturing lines dedicated for ophthamological and dermatological products. Our activities include developing, contract manufacturing, and marketing branded generic and specialty drugs in the following therapeutic areas: respiratory products, vitamins, dermatological products, diluting agents, anti-inflammatories, anesthetics, anti-infectives, anti-nauseants, anti-emetics, anti-ulcers, NSAIDs, and ophthalmics.
